Animal Game Stuff

The rain has moved on and left a new day. Nothing seems to move. Everything is still. It's just a perfect day.
Beyond that hill and down the road is a quaint little stretch of country called NAME. There is a town, a forest, and rolling hills speckled with ponds and farms. The beasts go about their business in coats and shoes. They have neighbors and jobs and appearances to keep up.
Charming as that may be, though, nature is still raw and cruel and the best dressed rabbit may wind up a fox's supper if he doesn't keep his ears about. Hunters and farmers as well as the odd automobile can also ruin your day if you aren't careful.
NAME is a sandbox-style game based heavily on the world created by Beatrix Potter. Here you play an animal that lives in the woods, in a human's house (occupied or otherwise), or on a farm. Perhaps they are visiting friends or on holiday. Go about your animal day conducing business, surviving, socializing, and avoiding enemies.
On the wild and misty hillside, fear is nature's warning. Hunger here is never far away.
RULES
1. Don't be a shit. This is a freaking Beatrix Potter game. There should not be drama, period. But should it come up, the ban hammer here is swift as a hunting rifle.
2. Nature is cruel. Please put excessive violence behind a cut with a warning.
3. Rabbits may be rabbits, but we ask you not to e-RP here at GAME. Keep it classy, ladies and gentlehares.
CHARACTERS AND APPING
This game encourages original characters and happily accepts Expy's of canon characters from other series. If you can come up with a NAME-based AU for a character, go for it!
As is the nature of musebox games, there may be multiples of a character scurrying around!
Please keep your animal characters sensible. No mythological creatures. No purple and blue polka dotted rabbits. There are no giraffes or sharks in the countryside.
This is a sandbox game and doesn't really require an 'app' exactly. What it does require is some kind of description of your character. Please make a thread in the [CHARACTERS POST] with your character. Further instructions can be found there.
